DEAF YETi are a post-punk, garage blues band hailing from London, UK. They are Shell, Jon, Nico and Brian.
The Witches Ep is their long awaited second record, produced by Teo Miller at London’s Cowshed Studios and mastered by Nick Watson at Fluid Mastering. Three tracks reference everything from the dark gospel of Sister Rosetta Tharpe and delta blues of Howlin’ Wolf; through Patti Smith’s spiritual hard edge and The Stooges raw power; to the noise-art of Sonic Youth and heavy bass riffs of more contemporary bands, including The Black Keys, Cat Power, Deap Vally, Savages and The Kills.
